ENUGU– SUNDAY, 15th, July It was all joy and glee , a celebratory atmosphere that sharply contrasted the ever tidious office routine in Enugu North LGA, as Emma Onoh, the Executive Chairman of Enugu North Government shares the joy and fruits of his happy marriage with the First Lady Of Enugu North, Mrs Ethel Onoh to the world in celebration of 25 years of happy marital sojourn.

The couple held a Thanksgiving service at the Anglican Church Ogui district attended by friends, colleague and well-wishers.

Guessed were recieved at The Base, venue of the reception which was graced by the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and a former minister for Foreign Affairs, Dubem Onyia who was also the chairman of the occasion.

The Chairman of the occasion took time to extol the couple for weathering the occasional storms of marriage to enjoy the fruits of matrimony.

Milliken Road, Enugu-Ngwo To Be Commissioned On 18th July.

Addressing the guests, the chairman thanked the invitees for their support while commending the State Governor for the completion of the Milliken Hill road, in Enugu-Ngwo. Utilising the opportunity of the moment, the Chairman Enugu North Local Government Area also announced that the Enugu State Governor will be opening and commissioning the popular Milliken Hill road, in Enugu-Ngwo on Wednesday 18 July.

In his words, ” I’m inviting everyone who has not been to Milliken to use this opportunity on Wednesday to see what has never been done for the past 30 years take place this Wednesday”.

The Milliken road had originally been hand-built over three decades ago and Governor Ugwuanyi will be the first Governor in Nigeria to reconstruct and build the road from its original state after previous administrations had left the road riddled with potholes, broken culverts and blocked gutters with road debris blocking parts of the road. The road when completed have Height Restrictor Barriers to prevent lorries and other high vehicles form plying the road
