The Nigerian president Mohammadu Buhari of the all progressives congress [APC] who won his main opponent Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the peoples democratic party [PDP] in the just concluded Nigeria presidential election in which president Buhari defeated Atiku with over 15 million votes and Atiku was able to gather only 11 million votes.
However the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has rejected the outcome of the February 23 presidential election and has promised to challenge Muhammadu Buhari in court.
He said the election was not free, fair and that it was full of many irregularities.
President Buhari has however advised Atiku to drop the case which he intends taking to court and accept defeat adding that, all his effort going to court will be a waste of time.
Also the Forum of Presidential Candidates and Political Parties for Good Governance, has appealed to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, to shelve the idea of challenging the outcome of the just concluded presidential election in court.
