According to sources within the government of Akwa Ibom State the Deputy governor, Pa Moses Ekpo has reportedly resigned from the government of the State and moved to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to Government House sources who spoke to Connoisseur, Ekpo’s resignation will be made public soon.
Pa Ekpo who is a strong ally and loyalist of the Senate minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio who is expected to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday.
Senator Godswill Akpabio has had a running battle with the state Governor, Udom Emmanuel ovee party structure in Akwa Ibom state as well accusing the Governor of abandoning projects left uncompleted while he was Governor.
Akpabio has moved on to the All Progressives Congress, APC as the Peoples Democratic Party was unable to find a compromise in the feud between the Senate Minority Leader and the State Governor.
